Beginner private lessons for riders with their own horse focus on developing the rider’s skills while strengthening the partnership between horse and rider. During this one-hour session, instructors work individually with the rider to improve position, balance, steering, and overall communication with the horse. Lessons are tailored to both horse and rider to help create a solid foundation and encourage steady progress.
Intermediate private lessons for riders with their own horse provide individualized instruction focused on advancing both horse and rider. During this one-hour session, instructors work closely with the rider to refine technique, improve communication with the horse, and progress toward more advanced flatwork or jumping exercises when appropriate. Lessons are customized to each horse-and-rider combination to support continued development and performance.

Dani began riding at six years old and grew up with a lifelong love of horses. She competed actively in hunter/jumper through her teenage years and comes from a family in Texas that rides and breeds cutting horses. While her own background is predominantly in English riding, her approach is shaped by a broad appreciation for horsemanship across disciplines.
At Willow Run Stables, Danielle teaches beginner to intermediate riding lessons with a focus on horsemanship, patience, and building a true connection between horse and rider. She believes the best riding comes from mutual understanding, trust, and clear communication, and her goal is to help riders develop confidence, strong fundamentals, and a deeper appreciation for their partnership with the horse.
Outside of the barn, Danielle works in engineering for U.S. defense systems at Northrop Grumman. That balance of precision and problem-solving is complemented by her love for the outdoors and her belief that there is art in everything — especially in riding, where feel, timing, and connection come together in a unique way.
